Sidecars are typically made with Brandy, this one uses Apple Brandy in lieu of the standard variety. It is a more boozy alternative to the New Hampshire Sidecar with just a bit of simple syrup. A delicious drink.
- 2 oz. Apple Brandy
- 1 oz. Cointreau
- 1/2 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/4 to 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
Using a jigger put all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled 3/4 full with ice. Shake vigorously until it is well chilled. Strain the drink into a chilled, sugar-rimmed cocktail glass.
